Delverde's orecchiette (size no. 61) are made from carefully selected durum wheat semolina and pure spring water, produced using bronze extrusion and gentle drying at low temperatures — resulting in a pasta with a unique texture, excellent cooking strength and "al dente" bite.
The typical shape of orecchiette (“little ears”) is ideal for holding sauces — e.g. with vegetables, meat or classic tomato sauces.
