For this product, Pakka collaborates with Silk Road Organic Foods, a fair trade-certified partner company from Uzbekistan. The raw materials are harvested by small-scale farmers from wild collection areas around Samarkand. Direct trade and Fairtrade premiums support the farmers, including harvest pre-financing and new sales channels in Europe.
