Bertolli Bolognese pasta sauce is a traditional Italian sauce prepared like in Bologna and seasoned with minced meat and fresh herbs.
This pasta sauce is made from a delicious "soffritto" of extra virgin olive oil and herbs. A soffrito is a mixture of finely chopped vegetables that are gently cooked in oil. These gently cooked vegetables form the basis of the sauce and give it an intense and full flavor.
