To achieve this consistency, the dough is rolled out thinly in a careful manufacturing process, given a hollow pattern and baked briefly in the oven at high heat. Since it then contains almost no water, it is crispy and has a long shelf life. It's best to store the crispbread in a storage container after opening the packaging. This way it will taste fresh and delicious for a long time.
