This product is coarsely grated Japanese wasabi paste. Enjoy its fresh spiciness and the unique texture of wasabi roots.
It is made from 100% Japanese wasabi from Shizuoka, and unlike most wasabi pastes, this product does not contain Western horseradish.
The coarsely grated paste has a sharper spiciness than fine pastes and goes very well with sashimi; however, the manufacturer recommends using this product as an ingredient in dipping sauces because it melts smoothly and the flavor lasts longer.
